Unlimited cycling - Southern main route

Tour France - You first cycle through quiet residential areas south of Thionville before this tour takes you into the hilly landscapes of the charming Saargau region, past the impressive fortifications of the Maginot Line on the Hackenberg. Along the German-French border, the route descends to Perl and Apach in the border triangle. From here, you follow the Moselle cycle path below the medieval castle of Sierck-les-Bains and cycle through the Moselle meadows at the foot of Basse-Ham. Through the suburb of Yutz, you reach your starting point not far from the town centre of Thionville with its remarkable buildings from past centuries.
