Saarland's biggest marathon!

In real life, you'll be riding on one of the most beautiful mountain bike trails in Germany, which can only be ridden during our event.

The beauty of the Saarschleife, THE landmark of the Saarland - the backdrop for our SaarschleifenBike.

"We believe that exercise plays an important role, especially in this day and age," says Daniel Kiefer, Mayor of the municipality of Mettlach. Markus Appelmann from inMEDIA adds: "That's why we've come up with something special for our mountain bikers."

One day: many competitions

It is important to the organisers of the SaarschleifenBike that their event has a suitable route for all athletes: from professionals to beginners. There are three routes in the MTB area: 35, 52 and 97 kilometres, and there is also an e-bike classification on the Sport Track (35 km) and the half marathon (52 km). Company teams automatically take part in the Ursapharm company championships.
