Tour Mettlach - Luca's movement

The cycle route runs through the harbour of Merzig along the Saar towards Mettlach. At Schwemlingen, you change sides of the Saar for a short section and return to the Saar cycle path after Besseringen. The tour continues along the Saar towards Dreisbach. Passing the canoeing centre and the Welles ferry, you reach the Saarland's landmark, the Saar Loop. The cycle path passes the Saarschleifenlode and continues through the impressive Saar loop past steep slopes towards the Mettlach lock. After the lock, you reach the ceramic community of Mettlach, nestled in the forest.
