The farm has been run as an organic farm since 2003 and has been Bioland-certified since 2015. The focus is on arable farming and species-appropriate livestock farming.
The family is particularly proud of its Charolais cattle breeding, which goes back to grandfather Willibert Krupp, who imported the first breeding animals from France in 1959 and thus founded the first Charolais breed in Germany. Today, the cattle live on pasture from April to November; young bulls are housed in the barn with plenty of bedding and exercise for the final fattening. In addition to cattle, pigs, fallow deer, geese, chickens and ponies are also kept.
The new farm shop opened in the summer and is open every Saturday from 8 am to 2 pm. On offer are various types of bread and cakes made from the farm's own grain, flour, potatoes and seasonal pumpkins. You can also enjoy a cup of organic coffee in the farm café.
We also offer three holiday flats in the former caretaker's building.
