With 17 hectares of vineyards, the Petgen-Dahm winery is one of the most renowned wineries on the Moselle, and the family has been growing wine in the border triangle of Germany, France and Luxembourg since the 17th century. It is a very special challenge for Ralf Petgen to produce top Riesling wines on the steep slopes of the Saar, the world-famous "Ayler Kupp" terroir site, making Ralf Petgen the only "Saarland Saar winegrower", and the outstanding quality of the wines and sparkling wines has been confirmed by a total of eight Saarland Grand State Honour Awards and a further six State Honour Awards.Haus Ökonomierat Petgen-Dahm was named best producer in Germany in 2017 at the Berlin Wine Trophy 2017, where over 2,000 entrants submitted more than 12,000 wines, sparkling wines and specialities to the tastings (summer 2016 and spring 2017), which were decisive for the awarding of the special prize. winning one of the few and therefore all the more coveted special prizes in such a large and select field of participants is a special honour.
Opening hours:
From the first Saturday in May to the first Saturday in December by telephone appointment at Weinkauf Tasting possibility: Every Saturday from 11.00 to 13.00. During the week we ask you to make an appointment for wine collection (no tasting possibility).
