After the start at the hikers' car park, there is a great first view over the Sehndorf vineyards. The tour then takes us into the forest in the Atzbüsch nature reserve. A panoramic trail leads us through the Franco-German Hammelsberg nature reserve with its rare orchids and species-rich forests. Exciting trails meander along the sun-kissed slopes and offer marvellous panoramic views of the beautiful Moselle valley in the border triangle of Germany, Luxembourg and France. Colourful flower meadows, sweeping views, shady forests, narrow paths - the orchid reserve offers all of this time and time again. From mid-May to mid-June, a variety of orchid species bloom here in bright colours.
From the Dreiländerbllick vantage point, the view sweeps across the Moselle valley. If you look closely, you can see the actual three-country point in the Moselle (marked with a buoy). Since the summer of 2018, an interesting work of art by Claudio Raffaele has adorned the Perl "Dreiländerblick". However, the special location directly on Perl's Hasenberg is not just about the border triangle. The Hasenberg is one of the most sought-after vineyards in the entire region.

With a view to the ROCK THE BLOCK Challenge, the many metres in altitude should be particularly emphasised and thus the chance of a worthwhile time credit for all trail shooters.
Wegbeschreibung
From the starting point, the trail is initially marked as the M³Trail, a 33-kilometre cross-border hiking trail in the border triangle. The first forest paths are easy to walk and do not present any major difficulties. It only becomes more challenging after crossing the B407 main road (watch out for traffic!). A steep flight of steps stands in our way and requires some strength in our legs. A few minutes later, our tour joins the Traumschleife Panoramaweg Perl at a sharp left turn. At around kilometre 5 of our tour, we deviate slightly from the Panorama Trail and head directly towards the Hammelsberg refuge. From here, our tour leads along a narrow trail along the DE-FR border with a fantastic panorama down to the "Dreiländerblick" viewpoint. The next small ladder to heaven awaits us at kilometre 6.5. We follow a narrow path over steps, roots and stones for another few metres uphill. Once we reach the top, we follow a great trail to the left which, with its lianas, is somewhat reminiscent of a small jungle. We have now completed the most challenging part of our tour. At kilometre 7.5 on the outskirts of Oberperl, there is an opportunity to refresh yourself at a beautiful Kneipp facility. Alternating between forest paths and small trails, we now follow the Panorama Trail dream loop to the hikers' car park at Rabüscheck. Here, increased caution is also required when crossing the B407 main road again. Finally, the trail leads back through the Sehndorf vineyards to the starting point.
