The sleeping barrels are located directly on the Saarschleife in Merzig's marina, nestled in a natural setting with picturesque views of the water and the surrounding landscape. Numerous signposted cycle and hiking trails lead around the site along the Saar, inviting you to explore the idyllic natural surroundings. Guests can enjoy the maritime atmosphere of the harbour, spend sociable hours, make new contacts and experience the local gastronomy in the surrounding restaurants. The infrastructure includes communal facilities such as a fully equipped log cabin for cooking and enjoyment, sanitary facilities with shower and toilet, a covered terrace, parking facilities and optional bicycles and a hot tub on request. The sleeping barrel experience offers a harmonious mix of tranquillity, nature, outdoor activities and social interaction.
A prepayment of 100% will be charged after booking. Cancellations up to 14 days before arrival are free of charge, cancellations between 14-7 days before arrival will be charged with 50% of the total cost, cancellations in the 7 days before arrival will be charged with 100% of the total cost. Arrival is possible from 2 pm to 5 pm. Departure is possible until 11 a.m. Other arrival and departure times are possible after consultation. The keys will be handed over personally on site, please notify us by telephone. Pets are not allowed.
