With our new mobile tourist information centre, Saarschleifenland comes directly to you: at popular excursion destinations, events and hiking trails, we will advise you on site, give you tips for excursions and introduce you to our regional products - sustainably, personally and always close to you.
The mobile tourist information centre is a joint service for the entire Saarschleifenland region. In close cooperation with the local authorities and tourism partners, we use the vehicle at various locations - from events and trade fairs to special points along hiking trails or at excursion destinations in the region.
In this way, we pool resources, strengthen the service directly on site and present Saarschleifenland as a modern, service-orientated and sustainable destination.
Tourist information on wheels - flexible, close, sustainable
The mobile tourist information centre is an electrically powered service vehicle that travels throughout Saarschleifenland and the Greater Region. It was purchased as part of the LEADER funding project "Touristic service and offer initiative in Saarschleifenland" in order to strengthen the guest service in a targeted manner - especially at weekends and at heavily frequented excursion destinations.
Instead of you having to come to the tourist information centre, the tourist information centre now comes to you: to tourist hotspots, events, premium hiking trails or cycle paths. On site, you will receive up-to-date information, personal tips and inspiration for your stay in Saarschleifenland.

One page of the vehicle is dedicated entirely to the topic of enjoyment. Here we present selected regional products from Saarschleifenland and bring the regional initiative "Ebbes von Hei!" to life. Depending on the location, you can discover typical specialities, find out more about the producers and - where possible - even try them.
In this way, we combine guest service with regional marketing and show you what makes our region so special in culinary terms.
