Culture enthusiasts can visit the Schloss Fellenberg Museum, the Werner Freund Expedition Museum, the Fellenbergmühle and Paul Schneider's sculpture park in the immediate vicinity of the Saar flats. The Merzig town hall and the town park are approx. 1 km away and the accommodation is an ideal starting point for tours and exciting excursions! Tourists receive free admission to over 100 leisure attractions with the free Saarland Card. A bicycle storage room with video surveillance is available on request for storing bicycles / e-bikes. Please let us know before your arrival so that we can provide you with access to the cellar. All holiday flats are tastefully furnished in a contemporary style with antique and trendy designer furniture in a sophisticated colour scheme. Each flat offers a separate bedroom with a luxurious box-spring bed, a private, lockable bathroom with window, shower and hairdryer, a cosy living room, comfortable reading chairs, a dining table and a fully equipped kitchen with oven, ceramic hob, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, dishwasher as well as pots, crockery, glasses and cooking and baking utensils. For entertainment, each holiday flat has two flat-screen HDTVs with satellite reception, a Bluetooth soundbar and a good selection of board games. Business travellers can look forward to a workstation, free Wi-Fi with high-speed internet and a laptop safe. There is also an ironing board and iron in each of the Saar flats, a washing machine and a condenser dryer in the basement. Bed linen, towels, soap and hand sanitiser are also provided. In addition, a foldable travel cot with a comfortable mattress and a high chair for children can be requested. There is a library on the 1st floor. Every guest is welcome to bring up to 3 good books and exchange them for existing ones. Merzig is located in the heart of the Saar-Lor-Lux border triangle. The cities of Saarbrücken, Trier, Luxembourg and Metz are each only a maximum of 1 hour's drive away. The region is known for its inviting panorama. Discover the diversity of nature along idyllic rivers, streams, meadows and forests. Explore the region on foot, by motorbike, mountain bike or e-bike and experience the variety of exciting cycling and hiking trails. Over 400 kilometres of premium hiking trails and bike trails for every level as well as numerous sights await you in Merzig, Saarland and the region. Villa Saar-Apartments is located at Annastraße 22, right in the centre of Merzig and just 2 km from the A8 motorway (Luxembourg - Karlsruhe - Stuttgart - Munich). Parking is available free of charge in Annastraße. For your safety, there is a first aid kit, smoke detectors, a fire extinguisher and a digital access system with personalised door codes.
