This sandstone construction was built in 1858 in the style of a small Gothic castle with keep.
Also accommodated in the building are the Wolferskopf Nature Reserve Information Centre, offering short films, interactive elements and a 3-dimensional landscape model, and Beckingen Municipality Tourist Information Office. Having suffered destruction during World War II, the „Old Beckingen Railway Station“ recently underwent extensive restoration.
