The Dreiland Theatre produces its own plays and organises guest performances at various venues in the village. The productions are intended to appeal to a broad audience wherever possible, while still being contemporary and sophisticated. The plays focus on the stories of the people who live here and the places that surround them.
The proximity to Luxembourg and France has its own special charm, as people move across borders from one country to another on a daily basis. Three different languages are at home in all three countries. Cross-border partnerships and a cross-regional exchange are practised here.
The Dreiland Theatre building is an old youth hostel with plenty of space. The theatre is a backdrop, exhibition space, studio and home, where people play, create and live.
